Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) 5.0

The Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) 5.0 provides 100% credit guarantee coverage for MSMEs and 90% for non-MSMEs and the airline sector on additional credit facilities. It aims to help businesses tide over short-term liquidity mismatches arising from the West Asia crisis. The scheme is operative until March 31, 2027, or until the total guarantee limit of ₹2,55,000 crore is reached.

The CHAMPIONS portal is a unified single-window platform launched by the Ministry of MSME to assist, handhold, and resolve grievances for MSMEs across India. It utilizes AI and ML to route complaints, provide advisory services in finance, marketing, and technology, and facilitate access to central and state schemes. The platform operates through 69 control rooms and supports 11 regional languages.

National Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Hub (NSSH) Scheme 2025

The National SC-ST Hub (NSSH) Scheme targets SC/ST owned Micro and Small Enterprises to enhance their capacity and promote public procurement participation. Key incentives include a 25% Special Credit Linked Capital Subsidy (SCLCSS) up to Rs. 25 Lakh, various competitiveness reimbursements, and marketing assistance. The scheme is operative till March 31, 2026, with a total outlay of Rs. 588 crore.

Trade Related Entrepreneurship Assistance and Development (TREAD) Scheme for Women

The TREAD scheme is a central government initiative designed to economically empower poor, illiterate, and semi-literate women in rural and urban areas. It provides a credit-linked Government grant of up to 30% of the project cost, with the remaining 70% provided as a loan through approved lending institutions. The scheme is routed through experienced NGOs, which also receive grant assistance for capacity building, training, and counseling.

Micro & Small Enterprises - Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP)

A flagship central scheme by the Ministry of MSME to enhance the productivity, competitiveness, and capacity of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs). It provides financial assistance (grants) of 60% to 90% for setting up Common Facility Centres (CFCs) up to Rs. 20 crore, and Infrastructure Development projects up to Rs. 15 crore.
