Odisha MSME Development Policy 2022

The Odisha MSME Development Policy 2022 offers a comprehensive package of fiscal incentives to promote the growth, expansion, and diversification of micro, small, and medium enterprises in the state. Key benefits include a Capital Investment Subsidy of up to 30% (capped at ₹250 lakhs), 50% interest subsidy on term loans, and up to 100% net SGST reimbursement. Special top-ups are available for women, SC/ST, and differently-abled entrepreneurs, as well as units in focus sectors and backward districts.

Jharkhand Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Special Concession) Act, 2025

The Jharkhand MSME (Special Concession) Act, 2025 exempts micro, small, and medium enterprises from certain approvals and inspections for up to 3 years or until commercial production begins. By filing a Declaration of Intent, businesses receive an Acknowledgement Certificate that acts as a de facto approval, facilitating ease of doing business.

Assam Procurement Preference Policy, 2021

The Assam Procurement Preference Policy, 2021 mandates state departments and public sector undertakings to procure a minimum of 25% of their annual requirements from local Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) and Startups. It provides a 20% margin of purchase preference to eligible local units matching the L1 price, alongside substantial tender fee and security deposit concessions for registered startups.
